July 2017 – barrelassin

Barrelassin’ Momma turned 75 recently- and we didn’t let it slip by unnoticed! I spent a very long time plotting and planning all the details for her big day. In short, this is how we did it.

Everyone knows how she loves her some Bret Michaels so, a Bret look alike was definitely in order. He brought her a single red rose and made his surprise appearance as we sang Happy Birthday to her. He and his wife were super nice to everyone and posed for all the photos we could possibly want.

I made this cake pretty quickly, fondant and all, but the feathered decorations made it what it was. This VIP step and repeat banner complete with red carpet made photos look great. I could give many tips on how to throw a fabulous party such as this, but then, nobody asked me, so I’ll keep it short with the pictures. We rapped to Run DMC and all sorts of songs until 2 a.m.! The night was a complete success! Barrelassin’ Momma enjoyed it and that’s all that matters.
